“All coaches, assistant coaches, officials and volunteers are required to wear personal protective equipment (Helmet), while engaged in practices on the ice.   This is in order to prevent injury to themselves or others, and to decrease liability of both the local association and provincial association.   No waivers will be granted from this policy and this policy implementation will be immediate”

This policy is to increase safety and to limit the possibility of legal action resulting from injury while on the ice engaged in activity sponsored by the local associations and/or provincial body.
