As in the past before venturing in to CARI call our Storm Line at 569-4584 or check our website, www.caripei.ca to get an update on whether we are closed or are delaying opening. We will also be keeping people posted on the radio as well. |

Coaching Clinics
A CSI (Level 1) coaching course will be held on Saturday, October 31 8.30am to 5pm at Sport PEI . Anyone interested in registering should contact Brenda Beaton at blybeaton@eastlink.ca. There will also be an on-ice session to follow the off-ice session sometime in the week after that, time and place to be confirmed.

Ringette Power Skating & Skills Program
The Charlottetown Ringette Association has developed a skating and skills program designed specifically for Ringette players. Qualified and experienced Power Skating and Ringette instructors will be available to train all Ringette positions – Centre, Forward, Defence and Goalkeeper. |

The 2008 ADL/Sport PEI Certificate of Achievement Award for....Athlete of the Year for the Novice Division goes to Jayne Whitehead of the Charlottetown Tornados....Athlete of the Year for the Petite Division goes to Jessie McCarthy of the Montague Jackson.....Athlete of the Year for the Tween Division goes to Emma Kelly of the Charlottetown Saunders.....Athlete of the Year for the Junior Belle Division goes to Laura MacRae of the Belfast ringette Association.....Coach of the Year goes to Heather Coles of Stratford.
Official of the Year goes to Patrick Dean of Charlottetown.....Volunteer of the Year goes to Sandra Hicken of Montague.....Team of the Year goes to the PEI Junior Team.

Ringette PEI Provincial Coach Applications
Ringette PEI is currently accepting Provincial Team Coaching Staff applications for 2008-09 season. The following teams are available, Petite, Tween, Junior, Belle, and Open. Applications consist of an expression of interest along with your updated coaching resume. Applications are to be sent in writing to Ringette PEI, kmcintosh@sportpei.pe.ca or fax (902) 368-4548. Application deadline is May 15th. |
